North American fans of the K-Pop super boy group Super M will have a few opportunities to see the group’s performance over the next few months. They are going to unfold their “We Are the Future” live series during the concert tour. Throughout November to February, Super M’s Baekhyun, Kai, Lucas, Mark, Taemin, Taeyong, and Ten will hit up Chicago, Atlanta, Washington D.C., New York, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Jose, Seattle, and Vancouver.
Before the group kicks off their tour starting on Nov. 11, Super M took over Hollywood with their first-ever live show outside the Capitol Records building on Oct. 5th. Super M’s debut showcase was the first glimpse of the seven members coming together as one. Live-streamed on YouTube, the show case amounted to a mini-concert with all the bells and whistles of a festival stage. They’re kind of a big deal. The seven members from across the SM Entertainment’s roster were culled from four of the biggest boy-bands out East: SHINee, EXO, NCT127, and WayV. As such, the scale of their performance had to match their superstardom and they made the cut.
Super M is being touted as the Avengers of K-Pop.
“Each Super M member is a multifaceted performer, each with their own distinct style. All are considered central members of their respective teams due to their impactful skill. I feel like it’s putting all eras together at once. That’s what makes Super M a very strong and powerful team ever. They are set to stand downstage and I think they have what it takes to become world-wide avengers of K-Pop,” extolled a user online.
SM Entertainment is also excited about the U.S.A tour, which is expected to become the highest-profile performance in the history of the Korean music industry, recalling the Hollywood movie series “Avengers” that globally made the big time.
According to the professionals in the music industry, by breaking ground in the U.S.A., Super M could gain more international recognition for K-Pop and pave the way for other groups to tour and debut in America. Super M has the potential to make K-Pop a more permanent fixture in the world-wide music industry.
