December boy band group reputation rankings have been announced.

As 2018 is beginning to come to a close, a variety of ranking releases have been pouring in online and offline. This month’s brand reputation rankings for male idol have been released by the Korean Business Research Institute.
The criteria of the rankings include consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes on a data basis collected from November 7th to December 8th.
Who took the laurel wreath among the countless boy groups in the K-pop industry? You might know the answer. Yes, it was BTS! BTS topped the rankings for the seventh consecutive month, scoring a total brand reputation score of 27,761,1331, which is a 144.08% increase from the previous month.
BTS has been untouchable in the K-pop scene for several years and their popularity has been escalating across the world. Besides the top ranking announced by the Korean Business Research Institute, BTS swept major sectors: Best Artist of the Year (Grand Prix), Best Album of the Year (Grand Prix), Global Artist Award, Netizen Popularity Award, Best Rap/Hip-Hop Award, and Kakao Hot Star Award in the 2018 Melon Music Awards, which was held on December 1st, 2018 at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.
Back to the rankings for male idol groups, Wanna One and EXO won the second and third place respectively for another month. Wanna One enjoyed an increase of 65.08% to score 12,616,408 in total, while EXO scored a total brand reputation index of 8,188,124, which is an increase of 9.95% from the previous month.
Who took the fourth and fifth place in this ranking reputation? It went to NU’EST W and BTOB respectively. NU’EST W obtained an impressive 195.29% increase for an index of 4,089,595, while BTOB also enjoyed a 77.75% increase for a total of 2,053,521.
