Seung-ri of boy band Big Bang stars in a sitcom produced by the band's agency YG Entertainment, which begins airing worldwide on Netflix next month.
YG Entertainment, one of Korea's three largest talent agencies, has been expanding its business to entertainment show production.
Seung-ri plays an ambitious young man sent to a struggling department of YG that is a dumping ground for the company's troublemakers. He does everything he can to save the department and his place.
In real life, Seung-ri is a successful businessman, running a ramen restaurant chain and other several businesses.
The show will also feature other YG stars including Black Pink, iKON, and Winner. It starts on Oct. 5.
