Kia is ranked as one of the three most trusted automotive brands by AMCI Global.

KIA has ranked as one of the most trusted non-luxury automotive brands in the annual Trusted Automotive Brands Study (TABS) conducted by AMCI Global for the second year in a row.
According to AMCI Global, its second annual TAB Study was conducted last January and a nationally representative sample of 2,500 owners across 34 brands participated in the study. For the second year in a row, Kia has earned very high levels of trust from their customers. This achievement, combined with strong OEM trust, makes Kia's brand robust in terms of trust, putting the brand in the top tier of the automobile industry.
TABS represents trust that accounts for more than 50 percent of a consumer’s decision to recommend or repurchase a vehicle from an automotive brand.
“Building trust is never easy. It takes years of delivering great vehicles and standing behind those vehicles with an industry-leading warranty and a dealer network that’s devoted to customer service,” said William Peffer, Vice President, sales operations, Kia Motors America. “It’s an honor for Kia to have ranked as one of the most trusted non-luxury automotive brands two years running.”
Substantially, the Kia 10-year/100,000-mile warranty program includes various warranties and roadside assistance. Warranties include the Power Train and the New Vehicle Limited Warranty. All warrantees and roadside assistance are limited.
The trust laid on the Kia brand is manifested on Kia Motors America’s (KMA) Certified Pre-Owned Program as the brand is named to Autotrader’s 10 Best Non-Luxury CPO Programs for 2018. The list recognizes the stand out programs car shoppers should take into account in buying pre-owned automobiles. The programs were identified based on a series of factors, including the powertrain warranty length, with a minimum of six years or 100,000 miles of coverage from the original sale date, available inventory, bumper-to-bumper warranty coverage, deductible, and transferability to future vehicle owners.
Administered by JM&A Group, KMA’s CPO program accepts only Kia vehicles that are five years or newer with fewer than 60,000 miles on the odometer and requires a meticulous 164-point Quality Assurance inspection by certified Kia technicians. CPO vehicles also come with a 10-year/100,000-mile limited powertrain warranty and 12-month/12,000 mile-Platinum Coverage.
Kia’s CPO program bridges the gap between buying a new car or settling for an older used car.
“Thanks to plenty of new models, Kia vehicles are getting lots of attention,” said Brian Moody, executive editor for Autotrader. “Still, there’s a lot of financial wisdom in buying a lightly used car from a reputable brand like Kia. Kia’s new car warranty is one of the best in the industry and their CPO program keeps the heart of that – the remainder of their 10-year / 100,000 mile warranty.”
Headquartered in Irvine, California, Kia Motors America is recognized as one of the 100 Best Global Brands and 50 Best Global Green Brands by Interbrand. Kia serves as the "Official Automotive Partner" of the NBA and LPGA and offers a complete range of vehicles sold through a network of nearly 800 dealers in the U.S.A., including cars and SUVs proudly built in West Point, Georgia.
